Year 6

Welcome to Year 6 at Woodcote Primary School! We are excited to begin this important and final year of primary school with your child. Year 6 is a year of growth, challenge, and preparation as students reflect on their learning journey and get ready for the transition to secondary school.

This year, we will be focusing on consolidating key skills, deepening knowledge across all subjects, and nurturing leadership qualities. Alongside rigorous academic work, students will have the opportunity to develop teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, all while preparing for important assessments and the challenges ahead.

Our dedicated Year 6 team is here to ensure that every student is supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are committed to creating a positive and motivating environment where students feel confident and excited about the learning opportunities in front of them.
